Relive the past in the present day


The Verla Groundwood and Board Mill is a living monument to the early days of the Finnish forest industry. Set in an idyllic village, it also tells of the people who once lived and worked there.

2.5.-30.09.2014 Tue-Sun  10 a.m. - 5 p.m.  (from Midsummer to the end of July Mon-Sun 10 a.m.-5 p.m.).

The museum is owned and maintained by the UPM-Kymmene Corporation


Verla Mill Museum was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1996.
